A Hyundai battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical energy to your auto.It is also called an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its primary goal would be to start the Hyundai engine.
The alternator supplies power for the car, once the engine is running.
Normally, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are made to release a high burst of current, measured in amperes, and then be immediately recharged.
They are not designed for deep discharge, and a total discharge can decrease the battery’s lifespan.
